He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Amdahl and Eda Amdahl; his sister Gladys; his brother-in-law Leonard Heltne; his sister Ann; his siblings-in-law, Oscar Enstad and Eunice Weaver; and his in-laws, Harry and Leona Breidung.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Breidung of Nelson; his daughters, Janice and Marilyn Braunreiter (Scott); his granddaughter Abby Braunreiter (Justin Gappa); his nieces and nephews, Edith Ruff (Gary), Paul Enstad (Judy Steffen), Lois Reinhardt (Paul), Dale Enstad (Jan), Jane Johnson (Keith), Ruth Hustad (Wally), Mary Hoffman (Kent), George Weaver (Kris), Mark Enstad (Bobbi Jo) and Cheryl Lasiewicz (Bill); his brother-in-law Jim Weaver (Lynne); and his pets, Sigrid and Maverick.
