He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hoefs and Irene Hoefs (Smith); and his sister Janice Meyers (late LeRoy). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie (Merkel); his daughters, Kendra Keesler (Kevin) and Kelly Hoefs (Michael Kerlin); his grandchildren, Jordan and Brandon Dudor; and his brother Bill Hoefs (Diane).
