She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Sommer and Marie Sommer; her husband Russell "Russ" Slusar; her brother William Sommer; and her brothers-in-law, James and Thomas Slusar.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Schultz (Terry), Mark Slusar (Lynda Neff), Sandra Kowaleski (Darryl), Kim Sowa (Butch) and Scott Slusar (Karen); her grandchildren, Katie Krawczyk (Tim), Jessica Johnson (Dustin), Jacob Schultz (Lauren), Marquee Slusar, Mark Slusar (Isabella), Kyle Zastrow (Shara), Joshua Zastrow, Ryan Kowaleski, Kaley Fernandez (Xavien), Haley Kowaleski, Justin Evans, Lisa Slusar and Allison Slusar; her brother Jerry Sommer (Jan); and her siblings-in-law, David Slusar (Wanda) and Betty Sommer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
