He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Karnes and Lauren Karnes. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his siblings, Marilyn Blackmon (Wayne), Dale Karnes (Sandy), Linda Koester (Art), Brian Karnes (Betty) and Laurel Bath (late Scott); and his stepchild Lauren Schneider. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and countless friends.
