He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin William Fred and Mary Jane Hanke (Ray); his brother Robert; his pets, Mimi and Mandy; Joan Grontkowski.
He is survived by: his wife Philadelphia; his children, Karen Stodola (Jim), Robin Brownlie (Rich) and Edwin Hanke; his granddaughters, Sara Lynn Groy (Ryan) and Emma Mae Endres (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Marlee Lynn and Lyla Jo. He is also survived by four granddogs; and several near-lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 29th 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Homes (4800 S 84th St, Greenfield, WI 53228). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
