She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nowakowski and Irene Nowakowski; her sister Alice Nowaczyk (Lawrence); and her in-laws, Leo and Martha Lesinski.

She is survived by: her husband John; her grandchildren, Amy Freiman (Chris), John Kieffer (Ben), Daniel Kieffer (Emily), Emily Genovese, Abby Brace (Andrew) and Trevor Blohowiak (Ashley Williams); her great grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Grayson, Malia and Leo; her stepgrandchildren, Meggan, Carl and Tish Daley; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lark, Leni, Nick, Adley, Oliver and Oaklynn; and her friends, Ken and Joyce Wesley. She is also survived by nieces and nephew.
