With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Edward Funke (New Berlin, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Herman Funke and Elva Delia Brekke; and his siblings, Dr. Frederick Funke and Sandra Westphal. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, David (Trisha), Laura Loftin (Trent) and Kara Polito (Vinny); his grandchildren, Maddy, Logan, James, Pippa, Raleigh, Gia, Angelo, Maryanne and Victor; and his sister Karen Hayward (Ron).
