She was predeceased by: her husband Felipe Navarrette; her son Luis Navarrette; her parents, Roman Heredia and Loreto "Mama Lola" Heredia; and her siblings, Juan Heredia, Esther Escobar and Evangelina Escobar.
She is survived by: her children, Dolores Hochschild, Roger Navarrette, Grace Buchta (Don), Rosemary Miller (Steve) and Felipe Navarrette Jr. (Bethann); her grandchildren, Lisa, Rich, Luis, Johnny, Nicole, Felipe III, Alexis, Bryan, Kristy and Kevin; and her sister Esperanza Valdez. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many loving extended family.
