She was predeceased by: her brother Tom Zajackowski; her parents, Marion Zajackowski (Guss) and Eugene Zajackowski; and her brother-in-law Wayne Wickman. She is survived by: her husband James (Jim); her children, Elana (Matt Smaus), Angela (Edwin Lee) and Nora; her stepdaughter Amy Waldoch (Andy); her son-in-law Jeroen Valensa; her grandchildren, Mary, Nonni, Colin (Isabelle), Darren, Preston Valensa, Louis, Evelyn and Aurea Smaus; her brothers, Mark, Charles and John Zajackowski; and her siblings-in-law, David, Betty and Janice.
