He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Kohls and Valerie Kohls; and his brothers, James, William and Robert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Abbrederis (Scott) and Jeanne Witkowski (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Tanya Fox (Bradley), Maureen Janson (Jack), Jared Abbrederis (Rachel), Luke Abbrederis (Kimberly), Nicholas Witkowski (Melissa), Kaitlin Witkowski (Jake) and Michael Witkowski (Tia); his great grandchildren, Brynn, Owen, Reese, Jalin, Josiah, Chiara, Kenzie, JJ, Azariah, Addison, Aisling, Brielle, Lola and Leo; and his siblings, John (Sue), Joseph and Mary (Monte). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Church and Chapel Funeral Home (15250 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
