The passing of Carol Lee Holmes of New Glarus, Wisconsin, born in Freeport, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 19, 2024 at the age of 83. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leland Crandall and Edith Crandall (Brewer); her husband Robert; her in-laws, John and Arvilla Holmes; and her brother-in-law Donald.

She is survived by : her daughters, Leanne Johnson (John) and Beth Holmes; her grandchildren, Michael Johnson (Chelsea), David Johnson (Alison), Christine Oshiki and Julia Oshiki; her great grandchildren, Colton, Ellanor and Clara Johnson; her sister Susan Glaser; her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Holmes, Judy Henderson (James) and Linda Higley (Woody); and her niece Julie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Swiss United Church of Christ (18 5th Ave, New Glarus, WI 53574). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
