He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ziegler and Margaret Ziegler (Laufenberg); his grandson Nicholas Diehl; his siblings, Rosalia Buechner, Lucille Wipperfurth, Marion Ballweg and Leonard Ziegler (Sharon Tschudy-Ziegler); and his stepdaughter-in-law Wendy Tschudy.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ziegler (Anna), Nancy Kratz (David), Joe Ziegler (Brenda), David Ziegler (Andrea), Diana Ziegler and Roger Ziegler; his grandchildren, Rochelle (Matt), Jennifer, Steven, Sarah, Benjamin (Jennifer), Vince, Kaitlyn, Garrett (Ali), William, Sonya (Jameison), Marieke (Eddie), Dallas, Claire, Nathan, Jacob (Emma), Audrey and Graham; his stepchildren, Laura Ramich (Douglas) and David Tschudy; his stepgrandchildren, Madeline (Nick) and Markell (Tyler); and his former wife Lois Elliott (Donna Mueller). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
