He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Meinert and Ophelia Meinert Schaefer (Buch); his brother Louie Meinert; and his stepfather Dick Schaefer. He is survived by : his wife Jacki; his brother Henry Meinert (Julie); his nieces and nephews, Laney and Will; his sister Sue Weber (Dave); his nieces and nephews, Justin (Hannah), Avery and Lauren; his sister Tammy Meinert; and also, Jeff Krug-Pickart (Tammy), Richard Cawthon (Clara), Kim Graf (Steve), Hannah (Randy), Luke and Lexi. He is also survived by many friends, neighbors.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sippel Funeral Home - New Holstein (2618 Altona Ave, New Holstein, WI 53061). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
