She was predeceased by: her parents, Anker Nelson and Helen Nelson (Reinertson); her husband Fred; her brother Al Nelson; and her siblings-in-law, Susan Leverenz and Gerald Schulz.
She is survived by: her children, Loraine Mueller (David), Christine Wiltzius (Paul), Mary Jo Starkson of Rochester, MN, Andrew Leverenz, Paul Leverenz (Julie), Debora Goeldi (Jeffrey) of Racine, MN, Karl Leverenz (Stefani) and Thomas Leverenz (Kris); her brother Richard Nelson (Judie); and her sisters-in-law, Charlotte Nelson and Barb Schulz. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (387 Cemetery Rd, Kiel, WI 53042). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
