He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Leverenz and Lydia Leverenz (Tamm); his sister Susan; and his brothers-in-law, Alfred Nelson and Gerald Schulz.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Nelson; his children, Loraine Mueller (David), New Holstein, Christine Wiltzius (Paul), Mary Jo Starkson of Rochester, MN, Andrew Leverenz, Paul Leverenz (Julie), Debora Goeldi (Jeff) of Racine, MN, Karl Leverenz (Stefani) and Thomas Leverenz (Kris); his grandchildren, Patrick Wiltzius (Mandy), Joseph Wiltzius (Ashley), Michael Wiltzius (Emily), Danielle Geistfeld, Benjamin Geistfeld, Nicole Johnson (Travis), Charles Starkson, Alec Finn (Kelsey), Rachel Leverenz, Erin Leverenz (Quinten), Michael Goeldi (Shannon), Nathaniel Goeldi (Kierden), Jacob Goeldi (Adriana), Allison Leverenz, Abbigail Leverenz, Addilynn Leverenz, Amber Freund (Devon), Katelynn Leverenz and Calvin Leverenz (Mya); his great grandchildren, Mikayla Wiltzius, Annalee Wiltzius, Charles Wiltzius, Liliana Wiltzius, Hayden Johnson, Bennett Goeldi, Declan Goeldi, Zulysa Nique, Quinson Nique, Winslow Nique, Ophelia Goeldi, Landon Lefeber, Dawson Schmitt and Daphne Schmitt; his sister Barb Schulz; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Nelson (Judie) and Charlotte Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt-DeTroye Funeral Home (815 6th St, Kiel, WI 53042). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
