Judith L. Mathes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith L. Mathes (New Holstein, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottfried Korb and Estelle Korb (Jacky); her husband Tony of Mary's Catholic Church; her siblings, Andy Korb (Ginny), Marvin Korb (Geraldine) and Mary Ann Schaefer; her parents-in-law, Harvey Sr. and Angeline Mathes; and her siblings-in-law, Jerome Mathes, JoAnn Mischo and Lou Mathes.
She is survived by: her son Tim Mathes (Nicki); her grandchild Lauren; her great grandchild Tammy Rudie (Mike); her siblings-in-law, James Schaefer, Donna Korpi Korb, Harvey Jr. Mathes (Sally), Dorothy Wollersheim (Dave), William Mathes (Nancy), Helen Mathes, Edward Mathes (Judy), Bernice Mattson (Gilbert), Melvin Mathes (Judy), Donald Mathes (Maribeth), Ervin Mathes (Paula) and David Mischo; her godchildren, Vicki Berandt, Mike Schaefer and Brenda Patenaude; and also, Jalen, Olivia, Griffin, Bobby Mathes (Jen), Macy, Grayson and Harrison. She is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 7:00 AM and from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (1724 Madison St, New Holstein, WI 53061). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Judy's name.
