He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Winkel and Alma Winkel (Casper); his parents-in-law, Isadore and Magdaline Watry; and his in-laws, Roger Heus, Lucille Halbach (Edward), Clarence Watry, Leona Ortlieb (Robert), Angeline Schuh (Henry), Raymond Vogel, Jerome Watry (Jackie), Dolores Halbach (James), Edmund Halbach, Paul Rieder and Thome.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Watry; his children, David Winkel (Debra), Helen Martelli (Alan), Ann Boehnlein (Richard), Mike Winkel (Missy), Kris (Bill), Will and Kevin Winkel (Tricia); his grandchildren, Shelby, Shayne, Trent and Emily; his great grandchildren, Levi, Atley, Harlem, Harper and Emerson; his sisters, Jovita Winkel C. S. A., Audry Heus and Marilyn Winkel C. S. A.; and his sisters-in-law, Millie Vogel, Bernie Halbach, Pat Rieder and Joanne Thome. He is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
