She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mason and Mary Mason (Lindsey); her spouse Russell Hoier; her son David; her granddaughter Abby; her great grandchild Eli; her grandson-in-law Mike Kluth; her siblings, Ella B. Mason Harler and John K. Mason (Nancy); and her sister-in-law Maude Hoier.
She is survived by: her children, John Hoier of Menominee, MI, William Hoier (Karen) of New Holstein, Elizabeth Atkinson (Mark) of Beechwood and Joseph Hoier (Sarah) of Sheboygan. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
A memorial fund is being established in Ruth Ann's name.
