He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore Gerds and LaVerne Gerds; and his brother Robert Gerds. He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Victoria) and Kathryn; his stepchildren, Aaron (Elizabeth) and Cara Frias (Louis); his children, Darren (Sue) and April Weed Benton (Tracy); and his brother Russ (Mary). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home (2911 Plover Rd, Plover, WI 54467). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
