He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schend and Margaret Schend; his siblings, Marilyn Christiansen, Robert Schend (Bob) and Charles Schend Jr. (Chuck); and his great grandchild Ryder.
He is survived by: his wife Cora; and his siblings, Fran Webb and Richard Schend (Georgia). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cruz Inn (309 S Pearl St, New London, WI 54961). The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
