He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Dumbleton and Ethel Dumbleton (Wilcox); his wife Joan Slater; his siblings, Carol Prahl, Judy Schendel and Jerry Dumbleton; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Dumbleton and Jock Craig.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Dumbleton (Dawn Nackers); his grandchildren, Ian and Emma; his stepchildren, Kim Slater (Debbie), Jennifer Swenson (John), Jessica Slater and Charles Slater (Michele); and his siblings-in-law, Tom Prahl, James Craig, Pat Craig, Janice Jones (Tom) and Jill Brown (Phil). He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren, 13 step-great grandchildren, and 3 step-great-great grandchildren.
