He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Dean and Helen Dean (Topping); his brothers, Russell, Larry and Earl Dean; his great grandchild Dove; his children, Arlene Sauerhammer (Gary) and Rod Dean; and his sisters-in-law, Ilene Guerin (Don) and Geri Kriewaldt (Bud).
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Oberstadt (Jerry), Lori Dean and Leala Brey-Dean (LuDana); his grandchildren, Dean Sauerhammer, Charlie Sauerhammer, Miles Oberstadt, Spencer Oberstadt (Lynsey), Luke Oberstadt and Grant Oberstadt (Mickey); his great grandchildren, Auttumm Sauerhammer, Lily Oberstadt and Violet Oberstadt; his sisters, Faye Mavis and Linda Kroll (John); and his aunts, Jeri Kushel and Donna Page. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
