He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Hinck and Elsa Hinck (Henn); his wife Lois Hinrichs (Dot) of Laurel, NE; his children, Glori of Minneapolis, MN, Bill (Kim) of Vadnais Hts, MN, John (Sharon) of Lake Elmo, MN, Melinda Sorensen (Jim) of Balsam Lake, WI and Brent of Hammond, WI; his grandchildren, Tanner, Alison Hinck, Colton Sorensen (Kelsy), Raelin, Raegan Sorensen, Jordan (Amanda) and McKenna Hinck; and his siblings-in-law, Marilee Hinck, Phyllis Hinck, Geri Hinck, Mary Anne Seibert (Wayne), Shirley Bruce and Jim Hinrichs (Debbie). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
