He is survived by: his wife Nel Bishop; his children, Todd, Michelle (Tim Guck), Vicki (Peter Berkvens) and Kevin (Diane); his grandchildren, Jeremy Larson (Candie), Jenny Larson Schwartz (Cal), Caleb Medchill and Jacob Medchill; his sister Shirley Shodahl; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Medchill, Helen Rimarcik, Evelyn Stapelkamp and Gretchen Ziegman; his stepdaughters, Amy Miskelley (Jack) and Rebecca McAbee; his stepgrandchildren, Jack Guck, Adam Guck (Hayley), Emily Guck (Cody Reed), Dan Miskelley, John Miskelley (Chris), Abigail Stainback, Ella McAbee and Tyler McAbee; his great grandchildren, Gerard Larson, Warren Larson, Mason Schwartz and Aubree Schwartz; and his stepgreat-grandchild Lexi Meissner.
