She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Freberg and Edna Freberg (Slayton); her son Dennis Garrow; her stepfather Mervin Hanson; and her husband Glen Briggs.

She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Moe (Nate) of New Richmond; her granddaughter Allison Hamholm (Justin Claussen) of Chetek; and her son Brian Hamholm of Chetek. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
