He was predeceased by: his adoptive parents, Clarence Dahlgren and Ruth Dahlgren (Fossum); his parents, Clarence and Ruth; and his former wife Madeline.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Howard; and his children, Brian (Lisa), Nicolin (Scott) and Traci (Michael). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
