We bid farewell to Kevin Peterson of New Richmond, Wisconsin, born in Rush City, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2025 at the age of 68. Kevin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Peterson and Joretta Peterson (Nygaard); his nephews, Corey Peterson and Chad Peterson; and his great-nephews, Tyson Rousar, Jack Ulrich and Jordan Shilts.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Wells (Terry) and Matthew Peterson; the mother of his children Mary Shilts; his siblings, Greg Peterson, Rhonda Shilts, Terry Peterson (Debbie), Julie Peterson, Laurie Tarman (Jeff), Brian "Willie" Peterson (Debbie), Cindy Melby (Rick) and Mike "Minnow" Peterson (Kerri); and his uncle Noble Nygaard (Sue).
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ready Randy's.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Shriner's Childrens Hospital New Richmond Youth Hockey, or New Richmond Youth Baseball Association PO Box 86 New Richmond, WI 54017 are preferred.
