He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris Maitrejean and Sarah Maitrejean (Rivard); and his brother Vernon. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Pykoski; his daughter Karen Traynor; his grandchildren, Ryan Traynor (Kaisha) and Tyler Traynor (Alyssa Larson); and his great grandchildren, Riley, Kaylee and Connor Traynor.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Parkinson's Foundation.
