He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Binford and James Binford; his siblings-in-law, Curt and Betty Bottolfson; and his grandson Brayden Binford.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Binford; his daughters, Harper Binford (Andrew Zywiec) and Hayley Needham (Joseph); his grandsons, Graham and Brigham Needham; his brothers, Mitchell Binford (Diana), Michael Binford (Boyd) and Mark Binford (Kathleen); his niece Carly Ohman (Erick); his godson Cole Binford (Stacy); his sisters-in-law, Debbie Shattuck (John) and Krissy McCann (Randy); and his aunt Carol "Deano" Rihm.
Through organ donation, Matt was able to give the gift of life to two other families.
