She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Smith and Marybelle Smith; her son Robert Lee Houghtaling; and her close friend Sassy. She is survived by: her children, Mary Newton (Gary), Sheila Arden (Dorman "Coke"), Shannan Watson and Gaylon Young; and her grandchildren, Paul "Dar", Dale, Chrissy, Kassie (Tim) of Duane, Jake, Shawn, Blake, Kati (Stefanie), Josh (Erin), Heather, Kyle, Bryan and Kali. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
