He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Popowski and Frances Popowski (Munia); his son Brett; his grandson Cole; and his brother Bart.

He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, Paul (Jennifer) and Mark (Megan); his grandchildren, Henry, Kyle, Victoria, Reed and Autumn; his great grandchild Raegan; and his siblings, Susan (Larry) and Bruce. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
