We announce the death of Dolly Pogantsch (North Prairie, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 81. Dolly will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Katzfey and Hazel Katzfey (Vanderpool); and her sister Barbara. She is survived by: her husband William "Bud" "Pogy"; her children, Kim Hellekson (David) and Keith Pogantsch (Julie); her grandchildren, Kaitlin Schram (Mark), Hannah Ehrke (Clayton), Kyle Hellekson, Gabryelle Pogantsch (Paul Hollenberger) and Brody Pogantsch (Raelyn); and her sister Marlain Riemer. She is also survived by her 3 great-grandchildren, other relatives, family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thelen Funeral Service (W309 S4840 Commercial Dr, North Prairie, WI 53153). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
