We are sad to announce that, on May 21, 2026, at the age of 97, Merlin Vieth of Norwalk, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Vieth and Selma Vieth (Hoffman); his wife Maxine Hutchens; his in-laws, John and Hazel Hutchens; his great grandchild Carlie Stark; and his brother Milton (Eileen Vieth).
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Zietlow (Darrell) of Norwalk, Marlene Vieth of Sierra Vista, AZ., Peggy Casey (Patrick) of Jefferson City, MO., Stephen Vieth of Norwalk, James Vieth (Mary) of Tomah and Brenda Perl (Mike) of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Michael Zietlow of Norwalk, Jeanne Lydon (Kevin) of Sparta, Brett Casey of St. Louis, MO, Brandon Casey (Elizabeth) of Jefferson City, MO., Andrea Brownlee (Duane) of Caledonia, MN. and Emily Laing (Scot) of St; his great grandchildren, James (Sara), Shane, Dustin, Laura (Henry), Peyton, Joshua, Carter, Landen, Leo, Lena, Matthew, Dainin, Ryla and Alfie; his great great grandchildren, Collins, Finley and Trygve; his brother Marvin (Elly) of Lake Bluff, IL.; and his sister-in-law Kathy Fletcher (Larry).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wanderers Rest Cemetery Association in Merlin's name.
