It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Otto Rodger Nelson of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his nephew Brady Hackbarth. He is survived by: his parents, Mary Nelson and Rodger Nelson; his children, Kayla Nelson (Jonathan Hanlon) and Ayden Schmitt; his sisters, Christa Gavin (Tim) and Tina Hackbarth (Tim); his siblings' children, Emma Hackbarth, Seth Hackbarth, Caleb Gavin and Jacob Gavin; and his friend Lori Capelle.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 Silver Maple Ln, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the St. Luke's Cemetery.
