As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Thomas and Lauretta Thomas (Bergner); her husband Robert Borkenhagen of John's Lutheran Church; and her brother Donald "Skip" Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Robert Borkenhagen, Lynn Scarborough (Jack) and Bruce Borkenhagen (Terri); and her grandchildren, Heather (Shawn), Lorin and Katie (Devon).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet's name to JAARS would be appreciated by the family.
