He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Opiela and Florence Opiela (Tokarski); and his brother-in-law James Zoltak. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his siblings, Allan Opiela (Maria), Donna Zoltak and Maryann Tellier (Mike); and his nieces, Leandra Trzebiatowski (Scott), Amanda Olivier (John) and Alyssa Opiela. He is also survived by great nieces and other family, and many friends.
