He is survived by: his wife Ethel Buchta of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Steven Buchta and Jennifer Looser (John); and his grandchildren, Joshua Looser (Kara Szaflarski) and Alyssa Looser Smith (Trevor). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
