He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Buchta and Eleanore Buchta (Meyer); and his son Jeffrey Buchta. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Buchta of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Steven Buchta and Jennifer Looser (John); and his grandchildren, Joshua Looser (Kara Szaflarski) and Alyssa Looser Smith (Trevor). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (210 E Pleasant St, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Belle Cemetery (700 E Grove St, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). A burial will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
