With sadness, we share the passing of Ruth E Zimmermann of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Ruth, born on March 30, 1929, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Nelson and Esther Nelson; her husband Robert L. Zimmermann; her daughter Margaret; and her siblings, Florence and Donald.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert F. Zimmermann (Rita) of Watertown and Samuel Zimmermann; and her grandchildren, David Zimmermann (Alicia), Robert F. Zimmermann, Jr. (Amanda) and Cassandra DeJesus (Willie). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hafemeister Funeral Home (611 E Main St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Glenview Memorial Gardens (W1219 Glenview Ave, Ixonia, WI 53036). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
