She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tajak and Helen Tajak (Kulick); her parents-in-law, Norman, Lucy Birr, Pamela and Duane; her granddaughter Sarah Rust (Birr); her siblings, Stella Placek (John), Walter Tajak (Stella), Joseph Tajak, Peter Tajak (Helen), Jean Kudlick (Edward), Frank Tajak and Frances Hylok (Raymond); and her brother-in-law Tony Depa.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Birr; her children, Gary Birr (Julie), Marsha Laurent (Steve), Donna Gerndt (Bill), Ruth Longsine, Norman Birr and Tim Birr (Tammy); her grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Aaron (Alicia), Travis, Zachary, Emily (Bryan) and John; and her sister Joan Depa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
