She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Johnston and Beulah Johnston; her husband Walter A. Rusch; her children, Debra and Mark; her brothers, William and Jack; and her grandsons, Christopher and Zachery.

She is survived by : her children, Dawn (Steve), Karen (Chris), Janice (Mike), LuAnn (Ken), Jennifer (Jon), Kevin (Chris), Billy (Kelly) and Darren; and her sister-in-law Rellen Hayes (Chuck). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
