He was predeceased by: his parents, Stan Schmidt and Margaret Schmidt; and his in-laws, Allen and Lois Neuman. He is survived by: his wife Joy Schmidt (Neuman); his children, Steph (Bill) and Jeff (Lauren); his grandchildren, Eden, Dylan, Ophelia and Anders; his brother-in-law Bob Neuman (Wanda); his nephew Kiefer (Katie); his great-niece Sydney; and his niece Chelsea Koczur (Forest).
Memorials can be made to Kingdom Come Food Pantry in Oconto Falls and River Island junior golf league.
