He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Gering (Zietler); his children, Lynn Schloemer (Dennis), Mark Gering (Janet), Bruce Gering (Michaelle), Kevin Gering and Lisa Glass (Anthony); and his siblings, Cynde Gering, Kathy Vorpahl (Wayne) and Steven Gering (Nancy). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
