He was predeceased by : his parents, Lester Grose and Jean Grose (Brazleton); his father-in-law Louis (Marjorie Penkoske); his siblings, Bob, Richard (Arlene), Janet Zelke (Bob) and Marjorie Siewert (Bill); and his brother-in-law Jim Benson.
He is survived by : his wife Carol Penkoske; his children, Paula Smith (Tom) and Terry Grose (Holly); his grandchildren, Kaci Smith (Erin DeYoung), Brooke Huss (Alex) and Emily Grose; his great grandchildren, Parker Smith-DeYoung and Chloe Huss; his nieces and nephews, Debbie Reuter (Chuck), Ann Knaus, Kim Wallace (Pat), Bob Zelke (Jeri), Jack Mlnarik (Val), Jeff Mlnarik (Bobbi Jo), Emmy Broeckert (Joe), Dan Benson (Julie) and Rob Benson; and his sisters-in-law, Chris Mlnarik and Gail Benson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence at 2366 Ridge Circle, DePere, WI 54115.
