In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gordon Joel had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Gordon Joel may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Snyder and Frances Snyder; his wife Lila Rollefson; and his children, Mary Albrecht (Mark), Timothy (Patricia), Rachel Cordes (Chris), Christopher (Kristin), Lois Buske (Mark) and Peter (Jenell). He was also cherished by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (8444 W Melvina St, Milwaukee, WI 53222). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
