Margaret Szalanski Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Szalanski (Okauchee, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Stapleton and Dorothy Stapleton; her siblings, Mary Lou, Peter, Nancy, Terry, Morrie, Connie, Tommy and Dorothy Mae; her nieces, Gail, Liz, Chris, Cindy and Mary Ann; her brother Jimmy; her sister-in-law Judy Szalanski; and her in-laws, Henry and Cecilia Szalanski.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Secord (Keith) and Brette Szalanski (Jenny); her grandchildren, Samantha, Lathen, Adam, Kaleb, Savannah and Addison; her great grandchild Hayden; her sister Cathy (Trink); and her brother-in-law Gordy Szalanski (Norma). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the American Legion (N50 W34750 E Wisconsin Ave, Okauchee, WI 53069). A prayer will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
As one of the nurses commented, "she was a spitfire!"In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of your choice in Peggy's name are welcome.
