He was predeceased by : his parents, James Sr. Tritt and Hazel Tritt (Feavel); his wife Judy Faust (Peck); his daughter Tammy Armstrong; and his in-laws, Harlan, Tootie Tritt, James Tritt Jr., Peggy Allen, Bernie Silverthorn and Art Hoffman.

He is survived by : his son Rick Tritt (Carol) of Omro; his grandchild Madyson; his son Anthony Faust (Glynne) of Fond du Lac; his granddaughter Lauren Graumann (Frank); his great grandchild Steven Faust (Maggie) of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Mimi, Carson (Abby) and Natalie Engelman (Troy) of Oshkosh; his close friend MaryAnn Johnson; his sisters, Faye Hoffman and Phyllis Silverthorn; his siblings-in-law, Norie Tritt and Eugene Allen; and also Koda. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Darrell's name can be made to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Compassus Hospice, Disabled American Veterans, or the Shriners.
