He was predeceased by : his parents, William Rupnow and Audrey Rupnow (Froehlich); and his sister Deborah Rupnow. He is survived by : his wife Debbie Rupnow; his children, Rich Eckstein (Jessica), Amanda Freeman (Jason) and Kristen Hammes (Mark Devlin); his grandchildren, Evan Ross (Gabby), Nicole Kerzner (Nick), Riley Ross, Bella Freeman, Kyle Gates, Brianna Butler, Cody (Abby) and Cassidy Eckstein (Austin); his great grandchildren, Aubrie, Madyson, Carson, Waylon and Karlie; and his sisters, Sandra Rupnow (Dan Lux) and Kris Biel (Geno). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (100 Lake Pointe Dr, Oshkosh, WI 54904). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr, Oshkosh, WI 54904).
