She is survived by : her siblings, Louie, Minnie, Freddy, Wally, Lilian, Oneda and Harold; her children, Bill Borst (Friede), Nancy Borst and Judy Borst Lenneman (Pete); her grandchildren, Laura Borst Pappas (Tim), Kelly Borst Ringler (James), Alex Lenneman and Clay Lenneman (Kelsea); and her great grandchildren, Miles, Max Pappas and Oscar Ringler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Ellie may be made to the Center for Volunteer Caregiving, the Samaritan's Purse or Operation Blessing. They have been my neighbors in Troon for 17 years. Both will be missed. Memories are more precious now than ever before.”
