She was predeceased by : her parents, Beryl Nichols and Kenneth Nichols; her brother Jerry Nichols; her aunt Donna Haima; her uncle Wally Haima; and her stepdaughter Melissa.

She is survived by : her husband Jim "Mex" Romero of Waukau; her niece Lisa Van Cuyk of Kimberly; her great-nephew Jacob Van Cuyk of Kimberly; her siblings-in-law, Lynn Nichols of Kimberly, Joe Romero of California and Eddie Romero of California; her stepchildren, Angie "Dinger" and Gary Jr.; and her close friends, Helen, Cathy, Steve and Annie Koss. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
