He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Schmunk and Christine Schmunk (Lautenschlager); his wife Muriel A Danke On; his brothers, Edward Schmunk (Delores), Richard Schmunk and Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Williams and Charles Danke.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Mittelstaedt (Philip) and William Schmunk (Pamela); his grandchildren, Hannah Burton, Michael Schmunk (Dani) and Matthew Schmunk (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Willow, Violet Burton, Peyton Schmunk, Hudson and Jameson Gilmore; his brothers, Harrison Schmunk and Sherwyn; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Danke and Elenore Danke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
